ABOUT COLTON
Colton Thomas Drake is a third-generation storyteller. With his grandfather being a preacher and his father being a lawyer it only made sense that he stay in the family trade and become an actor. His love of performing started as a small child under the care of his mother with whom he would spend hours watching The Sound of Music or Beauty and the Beast. Once he found out you could perform eight times a week he was done for! His love of the arts grew when he discovered he could sing and was able to start performing in his school musicals in Colorado.
Upon his arrival back in Dallas he knew he had to pursue performing as a career and chose to go to J.J. Pearce High School where he got to debut both Heathers the Musical High School Edition and Tuck Everlasting. His years of training and preparation lead him to Oklahoma City University where he earned a B.M. in Musical Theater. It was there that he learned to truly embrace his zany humor and roaring baritone voice.
He now resides in Brooklyn, NY with his wonderful weiner dog Willie Nelson. When he is not snuggling up with his little cowboy he can be found wandering the many art museums of NYC or resting in his favorite meadow in Prospect Park.
